The contest is open from April 23rd 2016, the day of William Shakespeare's passing, through to the 13th of June 2016.
Did you know that William Shakespeare was one of the first Youtube content creators? He was the Pewdiepie of his time!
OK well, no, he didn't do youtube as we know it.But some would consider him to be the greatest playwrite and dramatist to have ever lived!
We want you to join us in celebrating his life!
So we're running a contest to see who can be as creative as he was!
And we're giving away $250 Dollars to the Winners!
It's simple! Download one of the MineGage Minecraft resources found below, and start to create something that explores, or celebrates the life of Shakespeare!
Whether you want to Create something inside or outside of Minecraft, we encourage you to stick with Shakespeare in Minecraft as a theme.
We've even provided you a Free Minecraft world created by our team here at Minegage! It features a perfect recreation of the very theatre where Shakespeare wrote and performed his famous plays!
Our judges will review each of the entries after the deadline, and choose the winners based on the following criteria.

Remember to keep it all about celebrating the life of Shakespeare with Minecraft! You can do whatever you want to do, as long as it's relevant. We're looking for submissions that help more people connect with the Shakespeare, so find some cool facts about him and create away!

OK! So this one isn't being judged on, but we think it's cool to share the
celebration of Shakespeare's life.

This contest is a learning and design contest, and we think that you
will win an amazing experience!
But we wanted to offer a little bit more for taking part, so we're going to provide $250.00 worth of prizes for the winners chosen in the following categories!
We are encouraging Classrooms
and Minecraft Clubs around the
world to participate.
The winning classroom* will be awarded a $200 USD Classroom Bursary to help cover classroom expenses.
We don't want to miss out on
individuals or homeschools
A winning individual** will be chosen and will be awarded a $50 USD Bursary to spend on, well anything you need!
*Eligable Classrooms must have an eligible school email address attached to their submissions.
**Submissions from children under 13, must have parental consent to submit to the contest (All checks must be payable to an individual of Legal Age in your jurisdiction)
